Concentric Cuff Duration: 6 hours Skill Level: Confident Intermediate Description: Create a fun and whimsical cuff with multiple links of sterling silver. Using heavy gauge wire, you will learn how to make large scale, soldered jump rings, how to create a pattern that will withstand the forming of the cuff and daily wear, and how to size a cuff bracelet. Students will learn the correct way to form, saw, and solder jump rings and best practices for soldering multiple joins in one piece. In this class we will cover basic metalsmithing skills as well as some advanced problem-solving techniques, with the end goal of leaving with a fun bracelet to wear! |
